(no subject)

My new apartment is in easy walking distance of Kendall Sq -- probably 15 minutes to Kendall, along with 5 to Inman and 10 to Central. It's just occurred to me that this means I'm not constrained by the last T in how late I can stay at work (as long as I'm doing work here). I could stay here all night. (Or until 4 am, and still get home, is more relevant.) That's actually pretty neat, since what I'm working on is system cutover stuff that both needs not to interfere with regular operation, and involves working closely with the part-time IT guy, who has a different day job.

Oh, ugh. And it's raining again. I have been so damn moving-foiled this week. I can only hope the rain and my dad's headache can clear up so that we can move bookcases tonight. And if it rains tomorrow, when we postponed the bed-moving to because of the rain Tuesday and Wednesday, I will want to shoot my head off.
