now I'm all jittery again....
Mar. 12th, 2006 06:41 pmIs seeing properties like dating, or scoping? Here you are, looking around, trying to envision yourself with this one, how you'd fit together, entertaining fantasies.... I was amused when my sister referred to looking at the pictures with the listings as 'house porn'. A flattering photo..best features shown in a good light..the thought of what might be there but isn't shown.... Do you like this one because somehow viscerally it reminds you of your childhood and makes you feel protected? Or this one because it matches your teenage ideal?
Point is, I may be in love, but I'm almost afraid to say anything for fear it will go sour.
I so want it to work.
I may have found exactly the thing I thought might exist if I was willing to go a little farther away from the red line, that being More Space for My Money. In a lovely gut rehab. Then there's the things you don't expect, like: Belmont. Huh! Almost the same area as before, really; just across the city line, a little farther away from my sister, the malls, my gym and Coolidge Square; a little closer to Harvard and work.
Please let my love be reciprocated, and the object of my affections have no secret terrible diseases or offensive habits.
