For people who may need bookshelves, want wood ones that don't suck and don't look like they're made of cardboard, and don't want to pay a lot of money, Pier1 is having a sale on the Benton shelves through this Sunday -- $49/$69 instead of $69/$99. Better than any other wood bookshelf price I've found. These fold amazingly flat in their box and unfold, taking about 1 minute to set up, because you don't have to put them together. Thanks to foolishfire for introducing me to these by giving me and C. a few. They are stable and pretty.

Also, according to Metro, "The ridiculously sold out musical "Wicked" will return to the Opera House for a limited engagement from Sept. 12 to Oct. 14. Tickets for the encore presentation go on sale this Sunday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, Broadwayaccrossamerica.com and at the Opera House Box Office (539 Washington St., Boston)."
