I had quite a good weekend. I enjoyed Champions (need to actually update my blog this time), and am considerably happier with the slightly-more-powers, slightly-less-hostile Echo. 12d6 telepathy is a lot! (And, uh, a lot more when someone doesn't have the 15 pts of mental defense you expect them to.) It was really nice to get to spend some time with people I don't see enough of, too.
I'm also really glad I went to the Foamies (and it seemed the hours I was away worked out pretty perfectly with the thing happening in Champions that I wasn't really involved in, so that was convenient, rather than disruptive). I'm particularly glad I was there for kumir_k9's special super sekrit award. Yay! And I felt pretty good that people voted a foamy for the artificer tag-and-release mod in Endgame and the tea-and-haiku-with-monkey scene in Radiant, since I was heavily involved in both of those.
Larp season is starting crazy soon, if not as crazy soon for me, because I'll probably be visiting with (nonMadrigal) friends during the first Madrigal event, and going to NEFFA during the first Radiant event. That's okay. I could use another month without larps every weekend. I really need to get off my ass regarding the new costuming I want to make for Aralis; here it's been 3 months since I got my sewing machine and I haven't done a thing. The week before the event I'll be frantically hemming stuff, and probably sewing buttons at the event itself, because I am a Loser.
Well, a loser spending a lot of time on bpal and the almost two hours of physical therapy exercises, yoga exercises, and meditation I'm supposed to do every day. But...it does seem to be helping when I'm good about sticking with it. I had an excellent biofeedback therapy session today. Slowly but surely....
