In other news, I am really bad about updating LJ. There are so many things I kept meaning to post about, and still never have, from Wicked Faire to Aralis to Somerville Open Studios. Maybe someday. Right now I am making things making things making things, because Newton Open Studios is in a week and a half. Aie! I know most of you will presumably be at Aralis, but for those who aren't: Newton Open Studios, May 16 and 17. There's a preview reception at the Newton Free Library Tuesday May 12, from 7-9:30.
I have a whole bunch of new kumihimo necklaces and earrings I've recently finished, and will probably have more before I'm done; I bought some 22 g brightly colored wire, and so have dancing-star-type earrings (except with beads instead of stars) in turquoise and purple mostly done. Still need to hammer the spirals and put on the earwires. I already have a ton of new things to photograph, but there hasn't been any decent natural light for days. Hopefully there will be a couple of clear mornings soon.
