I am so very sad that Bill Staines has just died. I love many of his songs so much, and I have golden memories of going to his concerts outside at the Jackson Homestead in Newton with my family. We'd spread out a ratty blue blanket and have a picnic dinner in the summer late evening. I first heard him there when I was a kid, and then several more times as I got older.
