Last night I finally visited ryxander's place. I read Maya a story for the first time, and saw Kyra make up her first game (peek-a-boo, apparently without being taught it by anyone else). It was adorab'ble. (Some things are enough adorable to require more b's to express it.)
I also got to hear lots about Seven Virtues, for which I am psyched (sad that it is many years away! but also good that it is many years away, for lord knows I have way too many larps right now), tried little dabs of vast numbers of ryxander's BPAL, and swapped a couple that don't work well on me but did on her for a couple that don't work on her but might on me (and if not, or even if so, the rest of y'all can try them).
I like reading other people's BPAL mini-reviews, so I think I will start posting them here too. But I'll cut them so as not to fill the views of ye non-BPAL-interested people with endless reams of BPAL blather.
( Yesterday's BPAL.... )(It's like my daily gym log used to be, back when I exercised. In good news on that front, I was really pretty good about doing my phys therapy exercises all the last week. My chiropractor noticed that my lower back seemed in a good state, my phys therapist didn't glower at me, and said I was better at the exercises than I had been (though still not perfect), and I've been noticing less popping noises and more ease of movement in my lower back. Excellent! Now I have more exercises, and some of these are core strengtheners. Slowly, slowly I will drag myself out of the blob-pit.)
