Hello again, world.
A pleasant weekend. Friday night was laid back; I stayed at work for a while while everyone disappeared early to get home before the storm got too bad. Then got home and mostly did BPAL-geeking (yes, I have a spreadsheet...), my exercises, etc. Saturday afternoon played Ben L's Bliss Stage, which was rather like a cross between Forever After: City of the Moon and Privateer group creation. Quite enjoyable, neat to play with a couple new people, and some interesting game stuff -- rather like some of the things we've been doing with Sentinels, but even more so. I find Ben's hierarchy of intimacy and the mechanics of relationship breakage and recovery amusingly applicable to Aralis I, and to a fair degree to real life.
Sunday I went to Paradise craft show with my family, saw a lot of really lovely things and interesting art ideas, and spent not very much money, buying only one, relatively inexpensive, thing. Then had a super-pleasant evening having dinner and a mini meet-n-sniff with funwithrage and conspiratrix (and wirednavi, a man secure enough in his masculinity to try perfume oils). It's really much more fun trying bpal with other people, and finding how well things work on them that don't work on you.
This week should be hugely sociable; I have plans to see people I don't live with every night. Good lord! I look forward to it.

Date: 2007-03-19 05:33 pm (UTC)I also got one of the little birds-looking-backward from the place with the wood people of all different colors wearing brightly colored flowy clothes. (You know: this artist (http://www.paradisecityarts.com/artpage/wood/cheryllouiseolney.html).) It is about 2 inches long, purple on one side and turquoise on the other. But that was $2, so I don't know if it counts. :-)
I look forward to seeing what you got.
